Woking Borough Council

Inspector's Report

The Council has received the Inspector's Report following the Examination of its Draft Site Allocations DPD (SADPD), ongoing since submission on 31 July 2019.

The Inspector’s Report concludes that the SADPD provides an appropriate basis for planning of the borough, provided that a number of main modifications are made to it.  The main modifications were subject to public consultation from 18 September to 14 December 2020, and the Inspector has recommended their inclusion in the Plan after considering all the representations made in response to the consultation on them. In some cases, the Inspector has amended their detailed wording and/or added consequential modifications where necessary, as described in his report.

Physical copies of the Inspector's Report and Appendix can be viewed at the borough's libraries, during normal opening hours, and at the Civic Offices (Gloucester Square) by pre-booked appointment only.
