Open Space, Sports and Recreation Facilities Audit
The requirement to undertake this audit of open space, sport and recreation provision is set out in Government policy in the form of Planning Policy Guidance Note 17: Planning for open space, sport and recreation (PPG17). The updated study, published in 2008, establishes the amount and quality of open space, sport and recreation facilities within the Borough and any changes to the quantity and quality of these since the original 2005 study. The findings of the study will inform both the Council's future policy for these facilities and future strategies to ensure their adequate provision.
